Elopement FAQ
I don't know how to plan an elopement, help!
Planning can feel the most overwhelming. I will be there for you every step of the way. I can do as much or as little planning and permit-processing as you would like. From timelines to permits to locations I will be your guide. I'm a sucker for good communication, so as long as you communicate what you're looking for, I can deliver!
What if it's terrible weather?
Rain, snow, or shine, I've shot through it all. As long as conditions are safe to drive we will make it happen and adapt. If there is anything worse case scenario we will make a plan B that will prioritize your wants for that day. Sometimes moody weather actually makes the best photographs!
Will I feel awkward in front of the camera?
My goal is that you don't feel like you're having to "perform" in front of a camera all day rather that you are organically experiencing a beautiful day with the person you love and you just want someone to help guide you along the way and capture the joy, love, and adventure of the beautiful day that's been planned.
How do we choose the perfect location for our elopement?
I will send out a questionnaire following your inquiry to best understand your priorities of the day and the overall vibe and experience you are wanting. This can help me guide you to where I think will suit you best!
I'm traveling from out-of-state. Will that effect things?
No not at all. I arrive at any location 1-2 days prior to your elopement to make sure there is no scheduling or travel conflict. During that day prior I scout out any locations I have previously researched and give you real-time updates on if we need to make any adjustments and what those adjustments might be. I also keep a close eye leading up to your elopement and update you throughout the entire process. I am here anytime you have questions or concerns!
